De Vere Latimer Estate, located in the Chess Valley in Buckinghamshire has unveiled the results of a £1m investment into its standalone event centres.

Both The Waterhouse and The Mews spaces sit in the historic estate and, as well as the estate’s grand mansion, Latimer House.

They are available for exclusive use with their own self-contained event spaces, restaurant and bedrooms.

The Mews is located in a former stable block, has seen its lobby transformed and its corridors are now adorned with locally sourced artwork.

Its four conference and event spaces have been given a refresh with new carpets throughout whilst almost half of its 51 bedrooms have been completely refurbished.

The Waterhouse, a contemporary event centre with its own reception and car park has seen all of its public spaces redecorated and the largest event space refreshed.

All of The Waterhouse’s 51 bedrooms have also been redecorated with new furniture and artwork installed.

Ross Blezard, general manager at De Vere Latimer Estate, said: “We’re delighted with the results of the work which has taken place at De Vere Latimer Estate over the last few months.

“The refurbishment to both The Mews and The Waterhouse means that delegates and guests attending events at De Vere Latimer Estate will be treated to an exciting new product. We’re looking forward to our clients, old and new, exploring the new spaces which we’re confident will leave a lasting impression.”

De Vere is a collection of historic mansion house estates and distinctive contemporary hotels and event destinations with conference facilities.
