Apex Hotels has announced the appointment of Stewart Campbell as its new non-executive director.
With over 20 years hotel industry experience, Campbell was formerly managing director of one of Europe’s largest hotel management companies.
During his career he has operated over 100 hotels in the UK and Ireland, from limited
service to luxury and from 30 bedrooms to 930 bedrooms.
He holds several directorships in hospitality businesses and had ownership interests in many different hotel assets over the years.
Ian Springford, chairman, said: “It’s an exciting time at Apex Hotels, where we are continuing to invest in the business. Stewart brings a wealth of knowledge and experience of the sector, both at an operational level and on the acquisition and opening of new hotel properties to support our growth ambitions. I am delighted Stewart is joining us and I am very much looking forward to working with him.”
