Clermont Hotel Group is set to open VU from The Tower, a new bar and kitchen located on the upper foyer level of The Tower Hotel, this August.

Offering views of the River Thames, Tower Bridge, and The City, VU from The Tower will feature 150 covers and floor-to-ceiling windows.

The new bar and kitchen will offer a variety of dining experiences tailored to different occasions. The menu features a variety of nibbles and special offerings for brunch and afternoon tea.

Dishes include lamb kofta with pomegranate, crispy fried chicken in gochujang sauce, and the triple-decker club sandwich. Guests can also order steak frites, baked salmon supreme, grilled asparagus and roasted pepper salad, and a charcuterie board.

VU’s Bottomless Brunch menu, available from 11 am to 3 pm, includes dishes like smoked salmon with scrambled eggs, eggs Benedict, and a savoury waffle stack with bacon. Meanwhile, Afternoon Tea, served from 1 pm to 4 pm, features an assortment of Battenberg cake, lemon meringue pie, pistachio bombe, and macarons.

Diners can also order scones with clotted cream and jam, and a selection of finger sandwiches with fillings such as smoked salmon and cream cheese, sweet-cured cucumber and dill, honey roast ham and grain mustard, and egg mayo and watercress.

Additionally, VU from The Tower will offer a curated selection of wines, with each carefully chosen to complement the restaurant’s menu. Guests can also opt for cocktails such as Bourbon VU, Strawberry Aperol Sour, and Salted Caramel Espresso Martini.

The drinks menu will also feature Champagnes including Lanson Le Rosé Création and Moët and Chandon Vintage.
