The Beannchor Group has announced it is to develop a £4m hotel in Lisburn, Northern Ireland.
The Northern Irish hospitality group, which already operates two hotels, will turn 30,000 sq ft of commercial space in Lisburn Square into a 52-room hotel which will look to open in summer 2019.
The hotel is described as “urban and affordable” and will also feature a destination ground floor bar and restaurant. The company developed a similar scheme in Belfast three years ago, when it converted a former office building into the 74-room Bullitt hotel.
Bill Wolsey, managing director of Beannchor, said: “We already have a presence in Lisburn Square through our very successful Little Wing Pizzeria and have been working alongside the square’s owners for the past six months to create the vision for a hotel that the people of Lisburn can be proud of.”
