Hospitality brand The Crazy Bear Group Limited is looking to attract new investment for the business as it enters an “ambitious” phase of growth. The group was first established in 1993, and comprises two hotels and restaurants, one in Stadhampton, the other in Beaconsfield. It is known for its eclectic design and “avant-garde” hotel and dining experiences.
The group has gone out to the market this month, and is seeking appropriate long-term capital through financing partners.
It has been led by hospitality expert Tom Etridge since January 2024, with a new management structure brought in to “drive operational change, launch new high quality restaurants, create stability, and to bring in an elevated guest experience”.
Working in conjunction with property advisor Savills, the group will aim to “evolve and transition towards a contemporary collection of boutique properties in highly desirable locations within easy reach of London”.
It said: “The planned investment will realise an exciting new phase of growth for the group.”
