The Fieldhead Hotel, located in Looe on the South East Cornish coast, has been brought to the property market for £1.1m.
Comprising 16 en-suite letting bedrooms, a bar, guest lounge and restaurant and an outdoor swimming pool, the property has a range of amenities to cater for the high volume of visitors to the “tourism hotspot”.
The current owner, Julian Peck, purchased the business in 2006 and said he has since put “significant effort into extensively refurbishing and improving the property”, creating a “successful and profitable operation with a strong base of repeat guest”s. Peck is now looking to sell The Fieldhead Hotel in order to retire.
Stephen Champion, senior business agent at Christie & Co’s Exeter office said: “The Fieldhead Hotel is located on a spectacular stretch of Cornwall’s South Coast, a real draw for anyone visiting the area.
“Our clients are selling due to retirement and the hotel offers real opportunity for a new owner to come in and increase the current levels of trade. We have no doubt its unique location will help generate significant interest in this coastal hotel.”
He added: “A thriving and well run business such as The Fieldhead Hotel is ideally suited to an owner operator partnership who would continue to benefit from the associated cost savings and high levels of profit.”
