Hotel Indigo York has partnered with Pasta Evangelists to open a new multi-channel kitchen in the hotel’s resident restaurant, No.88 Walmgate.
The concept has been launched in the boutique hotel today (28 March) and is offering restaurant dining, as well as takeaway deliveries to the wider area.
Pasta Evangelists will be open to guest as well as the public. The new partnership will also see co-branded printed menus in each room from which guests can order to their room.
Finn Lagun, co-founder and CMO at Pasta Evangelists, said: “York is an established and vibrant culinary destination that has long been a target for our delivery business. This partnership with Hotel Indigo, and Splendid Hospitality Group takes our plans one step further with an in-restaurant dining experience as well as the choice of enjoying a delicious and comforting bowl of fresh pasta in your room at the end of a long day. This is the future of collaboration in the hospitality sector. We are thrilled to be working with Hotel Indigo.”
Andy Kendrick, managing director Hotels, Splendid Hospitality Group, added: “At Hotel
Indigo York, we always strive to offer unique and memorable experiences. Partnering with Pasta Evangelists allows us to bring restaurant-quality fresh pasta to our guests, served fresh, fast, and hot, aligning with our wider brand values and supporting local York hospitality. It is a brand we have watched for some time, and we were blown away with the taste of their dishes. We’re thrilled to transport diners to Italy with every bite.”
Hotel Indigo York is a boutique hotel, with individually designed rooms and spa-inspired bathrooms, which is part of the Splendid Hospitality Group.
