The lease on the Crosslane House hotel in Allerford, on the edge of Exmoor, has been sold for £125,000 to private buyers.
The Grade II listed property has been renovated by the National Trust to provide a “luxurious and relaxed environment” surrounded by “stunning grounds”.
Ed Jefferson from Colliers International’s hotels team said: “With four stunning rooms, a characterful bar and restaurant the boutique hotel is immaculately furnished throughout. Crosslane House has been completely and authentically restored to offer the very best in Somerset hospitality.
“It offers the most stylish and contemporary facilities in a quietly comfortable and authentically rustic setting.”
Vendor Roy Butlin added: “We received an excellent result which in this economic climate was more than we had expected. We know we were really lucky to achieve the relatively unobtrusive sale at the price we did.”
