Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London has announced the reopening of Hyde Park Garden for the summer season.
Opening on 2 May 2025, the al fresco dining spot in the hotel’s garden within Hyde Park will be ready to welcome visitors in time for the Early May Bank Holiday.
The new menu will be crafted by the team at the hotel’s two Michelin star restaurant, Dinner by Heston Blumenthal. This year, Hyde Park Garden will bring Heston’s customary take on ‘Chips and Fish’.
The hotel said the team will draw on their fascination with historic British gastronomy and honour the traditional chippy. Diners can enjoy Heston’s famed triple-cooked chips, and Cornish fish with every portion will be served on bespoke Dinner by Heston Blumenthal ‘newspaper’.
Diners will also have the option to savour some of Dinner by Heston Blumenthal’s most celebrated signature dishes including Meat Fruit (c.1500) and Tipsy Cake (c.1858) for dessert.
To complement the menu, Château d’Esclans, the vineyard behind Whispering Angel, will offer a curated wine list, showcasing some of its finest wines.
Hyde Park Garden will be open daily from 12pm to 2:30pm for lunch and 3pm to 8:30pm for drinks and light bites from 2 May until September 2025.
