Banchory Lodge Hotel, a 28-bedroom hotel on the banks of the River Dee in Aberdeenshire, has been put on the market with a £3.5m asking price.
The property is located in the town of Banchory, and its freehold sale includes a Georgian estate and seven-and-a-half acres of private grounds.
In addition, the hotel benefits from a mix of ensuite accommodation, including family rooms, wheelchair-accessible facilities and riverside terraces. A separate six-bedroom private lodge is also available on site, which has been used by fishing, shooting and golfing groups.
The venue is home to a restaurant and bar, with outdoor cabins, an open-air kitchen, and a large covered terrace known locally as the “sitooterie”.
Banchory Lodge Hotel is roughly 30 minutes by road from Aberdeen.
According to Christie and Co, the business attracts both corporate and leisure guests, including weddings and events, with outdoor activities and access to Royal Deeside and the Cairngorms National Park among key draws.
Gary Witham, director of hotels at Christie and Co, said: “Banchory Lodge offers a modern, stylish hotel business with many different business strands. The appeal of the beautiful riverside grounds and ‘sitooterie’ make this a must-visit for the region.”
