The Fox and Hounds pub with rooms in the Vale of Glamorgan has been sold to an “experienced local operator” for an undisclosed fee.
The pub includes eight ensuite letting bedrooms and is renowned for its food offering, as well as having a large outside seating area.
The new operator plans to establish the Fox and Hounds as a quality country pub with rooms, serving home-made seasonal food in the heart of The Vale of Glamorgan.
The pub was sold on behalf of Coach House Inns, which said: “We are delighted that the Fox and Hounds has been bought by an experienced local operator, who can give the pub the focus and investment it needs to re-establish itself.
“Being distant from the location meant this would be a difficult prospect for our core business, and once we had decided to dispose of the pub, we immediately looked to Christie and Co to find us a buyer and manage the sales process, which they have done admirably.”
Graeme Clifford, business agent at Christie and Co, handled the sale and added: “The Fox and Hounds is in a wonderful location and offers excellent drinking, dining, and accommodation facilities. I am sure the new owners will soon be attracting customers from across the region.”
