Hyatt Regency London Blackfriars has appointed Francesca Coluzzi as its new director of sales and marketing.

Coluzzi brings more than 20 years’ experience in the hospitality sector across Italy and the UK, with a background in sales strategy, team leadership and commercial transformation.

She joins from Andaz London Liverpool Street, where she most recently served as associate director of sales. Initially appointed associate director of events in 2022, she advanced quickly through the business, leading sales strategy and team performance, streamlining operations, and contributing to the hotel’s 2025 strategic planning. She also implemented new processes across event planning and played a key role in revenue growth.

Prior to joining Andaz, Coluzzi spent more than a decade with Hilton Hotels in Rome, overseeing convention and event sales across three major properties, including Hilton Rome Airport and Hilton Garden Inn. She managed high-value client negotiations, large-scale events and long-term relationship development.

Her career began in food and beverage, progressing from restaurant general manager in London’s Royal Parks to food and beverage manager for Hilton Garden Inn Rome Airport, where she was part of the opening team.

In her new role, Coluzzi will be responsible for elevating the brand presence of Hyatt Regency London Blackfriars and leading the team to deliver on the hotel’s commercial goals.

Coluzzi said: “I’m truly honoured to be joining the amazing team at Hyatt Regency London Blackfriars. This historic hotel, set in one of London’s most iconic areas, has such a unique story to tell.

“It’s a fantastic opportunity to be part of a brand that stands for excellence and innovation in hospitality. I’m really looking forward to working with the talented team here – building on the rich legacy of the property, driving thoughtful growth, and creating unforgettable experiences for our guests.”
