Donnington Valley Hotel and Spa in Newbury, Berkshire, has rebranded to become Donnington and Co whilst unveiling a full-site redevelopment.

Privately owned by Sir Peter Michael and family, the site is known for its spa, 18-hole golf course and team who “offer genuine hospitality”.

It has now unveiled a “significant” investment and redevelopment, as its reception, lobby, bar, restaurant and suites have been reimagined.

The refreshed entrance now offers a “crisp, fresh welcome” while the restaurant, Press, has evolved into a “more intimate” setting in warm copper, gold and orange tones, as well as a central banquet table.

The hotel said its refreshed brand identity of Donnington and Co. “mirrors the physical and cultural evolution of the hotel” with a new logo, updated fonts and refined colour palette.

Andrew McKenzie, managing director of Donnington Group, said: “We are absolutely delighted to finally be able to show everyone what we have achieved in a few short months.  Donnington and Co. has been elevated to new heights, and with more news on the horizon, there are exciting times ahead.

“We are looking forward to welcoming guests old and new through the doors and elevating Donnington and Co. into the upper echelons of four-star properties throughout the UK.”
