Pan Pacific Hotels Group has announced the appointment of Celine Du as its new chief commercial and marketing officer, as the company continues its post-rebrand expansion strategy.

Du, a commercial strategist with more than three decades of experience in the luxury hotel sector, will oversee the group’s commercial performance across its Pan Pacific, Parkroyal Collection and Parkroyal brands. Her remit covers revenue strategy, channel management, loyalty and global partnerships, as well as supporting commercial teams at corporate and property level.

Before joining the group, Du held senior roles at Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group and Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, leading global commercial and marketing programmes across China and major international locations.

Choe Peng Sum, chief executive of Pan Pacific Hotels, said: “Celine is an exceptional leader with a proven track record in shaping innovative, data-driven commercial strategies that have consistently delivered strong results.

“Her ability to unite global teams behind a shared vision of performance and innovation will be instrumental as PPHG expands its international footprint and strengthens its brand presence worldwide.”

Du added: “This is a company with strong brand heritage and a commitment to innovation and genuine hospitality. I look forward to partnering with our teams across regions to drive performance, deepen guest loyalty, and strengthen our presence in key markets.”

The appointment follows a wider transformation at the group, including the recent rebranding of its three core hotel banners and a renewed focus on integrated commercial planning. Du is expected to play a central role in advancing brand positioning and customer engagement across key markets.
