Hospitality firm Numa Group has appointed Philip Lassman as managing director for the UK and Ireland.
Lassman will oversee the Native by Numa and Numa brands. He joins with nearly 25 years of experience in the sector, having held senior leadership roles at Accor and IHG. Numa said he has a proven track record in development, operations and owner relations across multiple European markets.
He succeeds Olivia Immesi who departs the business after leading the integration of Native Places into the Numa Group. During her tenure, she oversaw the rebranding of the portfolio and the establishment of the firm’s current UK strategy.
The group opened Numa London Chelsea Green in December 2025 and plans further expansion in 2026. This includes launches for Native by Numa Fulham Broadway and Native by Numa Fitzrovia.
The company is also planning two launches in Edinburgh and a refurbishment of Native by Numa Hyde Park.
Lassman said: “I am honoured to take on the role of managing director UK and Ireland at Numa. Olivia has left the business in a strong position, having established a clear strategy, a high-performing team and a distinctive culture. My focus is building on that momentum and continuing to deliver design-led, tech-enabled hotels and aparthotels while driving the company’s growth across the UK and Ireland.”
