Travelodge Twickenham unveils extensive refurb

London Twickenham Travelodge has completed a £252,000 hotel refit, which includes work in all 111 en-suite rooms and public areas.

It is the company’s latest hotel to receive a “comprehensive” revamp, as part of the next phase of Travelodge’s hotel refit programme following the company’s nationwide hotel modernisation programme.

It said delivering “quality, consistency and value” is a key strategy for Travelodge which welcomes nearly 19 million customers annually.

As a result of this brand investment, the company said it has achieved “record” sales for the last five years and experienced a three-fold growth in business customers switching to Travelodge.

Craig Bonnar, Travelodge, chief operations officer, said: “Delivery quality, consistency and value sits at the heart of our business, and we are delighted to announce, London Twickenham Travelodge is our latest hotel to receive a revamp.

“The £252k investment took under 12 weeks to complete and the hotel team worked around the clock to ensure there was no comprise to our customer experience in any way.”

He added: “Over the last few years we have strengthened Travelodge considerably which has resulted in record sales and growth in our customer base, especially business travellers. We want to build on this momentum and continue to invest in our estate.”
