Police are investigating a robbery at Judges Hotel in Kirklevington which took in the early hours of Thursday morning (28 November).
According to Cleveland Police, a report was made at around 3:10am that two males had entered the hotel and “made threats”.
The two males stole a large number of bottles of alcohol, a mobile phone and cash from a wallet, and then got into a Skoda Octavia and “made off”.
At around 4.50am, a vehicle was stopped in the North Yorkshire area and two males, aged 32 and 40, were arrested on suspicion of robbery. Both remain in custody at this time.
Officers recovered a mobile phone and a number of bottles of alcohol from the vehicle.
Cleveland Police said: “Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact Detective Constable Jessica Whitehouse from Stockton CID on the non-emergency number 101, quoting event number 203368.”
