The Lowry Hotel in Manchester has unveiled a completely new type of suite to its luxury room offering, rounding off a year of “major investment and developments”.
The newly built Junior Suites include a “spacious” sleeping space, large dressing room and a ‘relaxation area’ with views of the river and city scape beyond. The new luxury suite was created by interior designers, Goddard Littlefair.
2019 has been a “huge year for investment” at the hotel which has seen the new Junior and Presidential Suites, other developments include a redesign of the hotel’s luxury lobby, upgrades of its meeting space and a makeover of the River Restaurant and bar area.
Completed in late September 2019, the five-star renovation saw an entire redesign of the The Lowry Lounge and Bar and The River Restaurant.
Adrian Ellis, general manager of The Lowry Hotel, said: “It’s been an incredibly exciting year for The Lowry Hotel. We’re investing nearly £5m in developments to cement our status as Manchester’s premier five-star hotel amongst growing competition in the city.
“The new Junior Suites allow us to maintain our five-star service standards, as well as offering a varied range of luxury room options to suit all of our guest’s needs.”
The Lowry Hotel has 153 bedrooms and 12 suites, as well as a spa, restaurant and bar, and a variety of meeting and event spaces.
