Cheval Gloucester Park set to open next year

Cheval Collection has announced the launch of Cheval Gloucester Park.

The luxury hospitality company, which operates serviced apartment residences across London, will open the new site in February 2020.

The relaunch follows two years of multi-million pound refurbishment, and the new site features 98 fully-equipped and appointed luxury apartments.

The residences will be available for booking for any length of stay, with guests able to stay from one night to one year or even longer.

The site features a mix of one, two and three bedroom apartments, as well as three five-bedroom penthouses on the upper floors.

3D Reid led the architecture of the new design, whilst design studio 1508 oversaw the interior design of the residences.

The building features a “modernised” design with upgraded features, including a renovated ground floor reception, a new cinema for film screenings and private bookings and a fitness centre.

The interior design evokes an “interplay between classic and contemporary design styles, with the transition between spaces and the enhancement of light and reflection taken into consideration”.

Cheval Collection said: “Every detail has been carefully considered to create the ultimate luxury experience, from the Lee Broom pendant lights, coffered ceiling lighting, Porta Romana table and floor lamps, Gubbi chairs and Hermes fabrics to the timber floors, Nespresso machines, Miele kitchen appliances, and underfloor heating in the marbled bathrooms.”

Cheval Gloucester Park will also provide a 24 hour concierge service, as well as personal chefs and maid service. All guests also receive a welcome hamper upon arrival.

George Westwell, CEO of Cheval Collection, said: “The entire team at Cheval Collection is extremely excited about the reopening of Cheval Gloucester Park and this chic, modern and welcoming property will be a testament to the Cheval brand, our flagship property in West London.

“The apartments are superbly located, just moments from the Royal Parks, the Victoria & Albert Museum, the Royal Albert Hall and buzzing South Kensington, with easy access to public transport from Gloucester Road Underground station, and the Residence has secure underground parking available.”

He added: “A number of loyal guests have long loved the residence and we are very much looking forward to showcasing the re-imagined property to both our longstanding guests and guests that are new to serviced apartments.

“The dedicated team at Cheval Gloucester Park, led by General Manager Allison Mitchell, is poised to welcome guests through the door from February 2020 with a commitment to maintaining our 5.0 rating on TripAdvisor.”

Cheval Gloucester Park will be the eighth luxury residence launched by Cheval Collection.
