Black And White Hospitality Management has taken over the day-to-day operation of the Hy Hotel in Lytham St Annes in Lancashire.
The group will provide “strategic” management advice for the hotel in order to optimise the venue’s profitability.
The brand-new, five-star aparthotel concept comprises one, two and three-bedroom apartments, and combines the “space and freedom” of a self-catering apartment alongside a concierge team which offers round the clock service.
The addition of this new aparthotel concept means the business, which was founded by chairman and CEO Nick Taplin, has extended its reach further across the UK, having also signed up The Lansbury Heritage Hotel near Canary Wharf and The Westbridge Hotel in Stratford, London this year.
It also manages The Cube in Birmingham and Cadbury House in Congresbury, North Somerset. Led by hotels managing Director, Shezan Aslam, the Black and White team will now manage all elements of The Hy Hotel’s operation.
Taplin said: “Adding this superb, five-star aparthotel concept to the Black And White Hospitality Management portfolio really is a fantastic achievement and we’re delighted to have been brought in to help the owners maximise the hotel’s profitability.
“We have a proven track record of delivering excellence through our personalised and result focused approach. We have a healthy pipeline of new enquiries and look forward to adding more venues to our portfolio in the New Year.”
Aslam added: “The Hy Hotel is an experience that’s both luxury and homely. On one hand, it offers five-star standards with a concierge team that provides round the clock, personal service, while on the other it offers the space and freedom of a self-catering apartment, with all the comforts and conveniences of home.”
