Hilton Garden Inn appoints Anthony Duggan as general manager

The Hilton Garden Inn Hotel has celebrated two milestones ahead of its opening, appointing  Anthony Duggan as general manager and starting construction on the hotel’s bridge, which will link the five-storey hotel to the Silverstone Wing and its dining, conference and event facilities.

Duggan who has spent over 10 years in the hospitality industry, said he is “honoured” to be appointed general manager of the 197-room hotel.

Duggan  said: “ As an avid motorsport fan, this position allows me to combine my professional and personal interests.  I am both delighted and grateful for this opportunity given to me by Hilton and Bricks Capital and together we are sure this opening will be a huge success.”

Following the signing of a management agreement with owners, Bricks Capital Ltd in September 2018, Hilton Garden Inn Silverstone will be the first hotel to be built at the UK’s premier motor racing venue. 

The hotel will feature a rooftop terrace capable of hosting up to 200 guests, suitable for private and corporate events, offering unrivalled viewing of all the action on the track combined with destination dining.

“Hilton Garden Inn Silverstone will be a fantastic addition to the Silverstone race day experience and create a new all-year round destination for business travellers, event organisers, weekenders or anyone simply seeking a memorable experience.”

The new Silverstone hotel is due to open in Summer next year.
