With over 25 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, Squecco most recently worked as deputy general manager at Pennyhill Park in Surrey, and has managed a number of hotels including Belmond Hotel Cipriani in Venice, Lanesborough London and Rome Cavalieri.
He will be responsible for the daily operations and management of Blakes Hotel, overseeing the team in a “professional and passionate” manner.
Commenting on his appointment, Squecco said: “I am thrilled to work alongside such a dedicated Team and help to preserve Anouska Hempel’s legacy in time.
“But also engage all stakeholders on our values to build a perfect relationship between the Team and our Guests by offering not only good but great service, attention to detail, warm hospitality and a sense of generosity.”
Squecco will work alongside George Austin (F&B director), Charles Dessert (sales and marketing manager), Peter Del Campo (head chef) and Jin Nilsson (business developer).
