Plans for a £10m hotel in Liverpool have been given the green light by planning officials.
The five-storey building, which featured 150 rooms, will be situated on Longman Drive on a 1.7 acre-site close to the Liverpool Lennon Airport.
The scheme has been designed for Cosgrove North West and was approved at the planning hearing on 10 March. Architecture practice Falconer Chester Hall, in association with a team led by J10 Planning, has also secured planning permission for the hotel.
Stephen Fieldsend, associate director said: “It is wonderful news that we have been granted planning permission on this site.
“The development will enhance the streetscape and provide an active frontage to Speke Boulevard. The hotel offers a key amenity that could be utilised by the many industries operating in Speke.”
He added: “The design is strong and bold, but with the provision of carefully considered hard and soft landscaping the hotel will sit well within its context and present guests with a pleasant environment to enjoy.”
