Barnett Hill hotel has announced the appointment of Nicolas Roulier as its new general manager.
The luxury Surrey hotel said the appointment marked an “exciting next step” in Roulier’s career, who has previously worked across a range of hotels, including Luton Hoo, The Pig in the New Forest and Chichester Harbour Hotel.
The Guildford site features 56 rooms and suites set across a mansion house, coach house, mews and gardener’s cottage. It is set within 26 acres of grounds, and surrounded by flower gardens and terraces.
Roulier said: “I am very happy to have joined the Barnett Hill team at an exciting time for the hotel.
“With recent refurbishments now complete we are ready to take the hotel to the next level and build on past successes.”
He added: “I am getting to know the guests, the team and the hotel and very much looking forward to what the future has to hold at Barnett Hill.
“The hotel has a beautiful setting atop a hill in the beautiful Surreys Hills and I am loving working in such stunning surroundings.”
