Edinburgh’s The Dunstane Houses reopens

Edinburgh-based The Dunstane Houses is reopening its doors today (15 July).

Over the course of its recent closure, the hotel has announced it has made “subtle changes” to adapt to the new “norm” whilst safeguarding the hotel experience.

Alongside flexible booking policies and a refined offering prioritising privatization and personalisation, the hotel announced the use of an “exhaustive” health and safety plan including rigorous measures around employee and guest health screening.

Some of the measures include the use of PPE as required, extensive cleaning and sanitising protocols and restricted occupancy where possible.

Dunstane Houses re-launched in July 2017 following an extensive renovation project and was designed by Edinburgh architect, William Playfair, the buildings date back to 1852 and are located in Edinburgh’s Wester Coates.

In 2018, Pride of Britain hotels has announced Dunstane Houses boutique hotel has joined its luxury portfolio of independent hotels.
