RBH opens first Hilton hotel in Stoke-On-Trent

Hospitality management firm RBH has officially launched its first Hilton hotel in Stoke-On-Trent.

The £20m Hilton Garden Inn opened its doors to the public this month and forms part of the Smithfield development, which is being brought to the city in a partnership between Genr8 Developments and Stoke-on-Trent City Council.

The hotel features 140 guest bedrooms, meeting and conference facilities, a fully equipped gym for guests, and a bar and restaurant service, the site also pays “homage” to the area’s “rich pottery heritage” with a bespoke tiled welcome wall integrated into the design of the venue.

Additionally, the site also features Hilton CleanStay, a “leading” programme to deliver a standard of cleanliness and disinfection across all of Hilton’s hotels globally.

Ben Carey, general manager of Hilton Garden Inn Stoke-on-Trent, said: “Today [9 October] is an exceptionally proud one for myself and the rest of the team, all of whom have worked tirelessly to ensure we are ready to open our doors to guests and locals alike.

“Stoke-on-Trent is an incredibly welcoming and friendly city, and we are poised to ensure our guests receive a signature Stoke welcome alongside the truly first-class service they would expect from the Hilton brand.”
