Conrad London St. James to open four food and drink establishments

Conrad London St. James, a London hotel, has announced plans to create four food and drink destinations in Westminster.

Some £1.75m will be invested into a signature restaurant, a contemporary take on a traditional pub, an afternoon tea lounge, and a cocktail bar.

The Blue Boar Pub is set to open in December, with the other projects commencing in spring 2021.

Michelin-starred chef Sally Abé has been appointed as consultant chef. Abé won chef of the year in the Estrella Damm top 50 gastropubs 2020 and is currently head chef at the Harwood Arms

“Working alongside Sally over the past few months has shown us what a remarkable talent she is, and in spite of all of the trading challenges we’re dealing with, we are absolutely confident that we have everything lined up to make a real mark on the London dining scene.”

She added: “Our new concepts will provide the ideal settings for Sally to demonstrate her versatility and to continue to champion and empower women in hospitality.”
