Preferred Hotels has announced that one of its latest sites, The Londoner, is due to open early next year.
The building will span 16 stories and feature 350 bedrooms and suites spread across 10 levels, including a tower penthouse with panoramic views.
The hotel’s subterranean areas will feature two private screening rooms, a spa and gym, a nail salon, and barber shop. It will also feature a “variety” of meeting spaces, including a ballroom that accommodates up to 864 guests.
Preferred Hotels said: “Staggering in scale yet boutique in feel, the hotel’s first-of-its-kind super boutique offering is positioned to redefine the local hospitality scene.”
The opening comes amidst a raft of new openings for the hotel group, which is also planning to open sites in Italy, Sweden and the United States next year.
CEO Lindsey Ueberroth said: “The innate human desire to connect, share experiences, and travel will be stronger than ever in the new year, and we are thrilled to announce these new openings that serve as beacons of hope and inspiration for hoteliers and travellers alike.
“The resilience of all hotels globally this past year has been truly remarkable, and we are invigorated by the promise of these new openings that signal a new year of new beginnings for the travel industry and encourage everyone to continue to Believe in Travel.”
