Cliff House hotel in Southbourne has been named ‘Small Hotel of the Year’ at the recent 2016 Bournemouth Tourism Awards.
The 10th annual ceremony, which was presented by Sky TV presenter Jayne Secker, saw the 30-bedroom property pick up the prize just 20 months since opening to the public.
Andrew Gosling, owner of the hotel, said: “This award celebrates the achievements and dedication of the team here at Cliff House hotel. We’re delighted to be starting the season with such a fantastic win.”
Des Simmons, chairman of Bournemouth’s Tourism Award and MD of Bournecoast, said: “This year’s event was a remarkable achievement, we had the most entries and nominations in the 10 years history of the awards.”
The five-star Cliff House hotel features a bar, bar menu, meeting and event spaces, and is located just a stone’s throw away from the town’s sandy beaches.”
