Four chefs, including two-Michelin-star chef Martin Burge of Whatley Manor, have signed up to serve dishes at Hospitality Action’s third annual polo day.
All guests will enjoy a champagne reception on the lawns before a three-course lunch prepared by the four chefs. Grandstand seats will be reserved for guests to watch ‘The Solitaire Salver’ polo match, before ending the day with an afternoon cream tea.
Martin Burge said: “I cannot wait to get back on the saddle for the 2012 polo day. Last year the combined efforts of everyone at the polo club raised over £30,000 for those in the hotel and catering trade who find themselves in crisis.
“Hospitality Action receives heart-breaking pleas for assistance every day and my fellow polo day chefs and I are all proud to support their vital work.”
Hospitality Action last year spent more than £450,000 supporting 1,492 hospitality workers, past and present, who have fallen on hard times.
