Sponsorship for the hospitality industry’s HOSPACE 2012 conference and exhibition has been announced.
Computer manufacturer Hewlett-Packard (HP) and Lancashire-based Fourteen IP Communications are main sponsors for the event which will be held at Sofitel London Heathrow, Terminal 5, on 22 November.
As well as providing sponsorship and technology support, HP and Fourteen IP Communications will be running two educational workshops at the event on “Communications Network Solutions”.
This will be part of the conference and exhibition’s traditionally popular afternoon programme of industry-specific educational workshops for hospitality finance, revenue management, IT and commercial professionals – all led by top specialists in their fields.
The sponsorship had been warmly received by HOSPA chief executive Carl Weldon. He said: “We are delighted that HP and Fourteen IP Communications are to be key supporters and technology partners for HOSPACE 2012.”
“We are very honoured that the two companies have agreed to support one of the association’s top three 2012 annual awards – the prestigious ‘HOSPA Hospitality IT Professional of the Year’ – to be presented in London at HOSPA’s Annual Christmas Awards Luncheon on 19 December at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge.”
Neil Tolley, business development director for Fourteen IP, added: “We are delighted to be supporting such prestigious events as HOSPACE 2012 and HOSPA’s Annual Christmas Awards and are very pleased that HP can provide the technology to help power HOSPACE 2012. We are happy to provide two educational workshops in conjunction with HP that will provide useful information for the HOSPACE 2012 delegates”
