The Club Company opens new £8.5m hotel

The Club Company announced it has opened a new £8.5m hotel that neighbours the Tytherington Golf and Country Club in Macclesfield.

The Tytherington was expected to launch this spring, but was delayed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

The hotel features around 65 ensuite bedrooms, alongside access to a restaurant, bar, health and fitness facilities, swimming pool, luxury spa, and golf course at the nearby Tytherington club.

Jamie McDonald, general manager at the establishment, said: “We are delighted to finally open the Tytherington in what has been a very difficult year.

“With demand for staycations soaring, we believe there will be strong demand for a premium hotel in the area. It’s the perfect base for a golf or spa break or for exploring Cheshire and the stunning Peak District.”

The Tytherington is the group’s eighth hotel and 15th addition to its portfolio, with the majority of sites located in central or southern England.
