Plans for Luton Airport Hotel announced

Redefine BDL Hotels (RBH) has announced that it will manage the upcoming Courtyard by Marriott London Luton Airport Hotel. The project will be undertaken by Polcom Developments.

The new hotel will have 250 rooms and is expected to open in 2018. It will be a 10-minute walk from the Luton departure lounge and will have a bar, bistro and gym.

Polcom Developments is currently building the rooms at its factory in Poland which will be transported to the site when they are ready for construction.

Ross Morrow, chief developer of RBH, said: “Courtyard by Marriott London Luton Airport will be the second hotel in the RBH portfolio to be built using Polcom’s innovative modular construction.

“With the main components of the hotel being built in a factory setting, it minimises the time spent on-site and really speeds up completion of what is set to be a fantastic hotel.”
