Kew Green Hotels announce acquisition

One of the leading conference venues and hotels in the Birmingham area has recently revamped its health club with a £50,000 makeover.

Part of the Principal Hayley group of hotels, St Johns has 180 guest rooms and is one of the largest wedding venues in Solihull and Birmingham. As part of a refurbishment programme at this 4-star venue the poolside facilities and changing rooms were updated and new equipment installed in the gym.

The new-look amenities complement the existing steam room, sauna, Jacuzzi, holistic therapy suite, and nail bar, which hotel guests and members of the health club can use. The improvements to the hotel’s leisure facilities come as the luxury hotel and conference centre prepares to complete the last phase of the refurbishment of the 180 bedrooms, which is expected to be complete in the spring.

Hotel manager Darren McGhee said: “We are committed to providing first-class facilities at The St Johns Hotel and are very pleased with the refurbishments made to the health club. It’s just the first in a series of improvements we are planning here and we are looking forward to unveiling the changes over the next few months.”
