Mondrian Shoreditch London has announced the opening of Chef Dani García’s first UK based restaurant, which is set to open its doors on 2 August 2021.

BIBO Shoreditch will host an open-kitchen tapas bar and an all-day dining room in the heart of the hotel.

The restaurant’s interior is reportedly “infused” with a natural colour palette, with the use of light oak floors, soft clay rendered walls and reflective surfaces.

The interior is said to reference Andalusia, whilst complimenting the brand colours through the use of rose-coloured handmade tiles, bordeaux red arched wall features and limed oak joinery.

Located on the lower ground floor of Mondrian Shoreditch, the restaurant will be García’s fifth opening, joining BIBO Marbella, Madrid, Tarifa, Doha and Málaga.

García said: “It is an honor to open our first UK based restaurant alongside our amazing partners Accor and the Reuben Brothers and we are excited to establish the property at the heart of the Shoreditch food scene.

“I have always been fascinated by the vibrant energy of London and look forward to seeing our most iconic dishes being enjoyed by a new public.”
