Foston’s Ash Inn, Grade II-listed property located in Stroud, Gloucestershire, has been sold to a private investor for an undisclosed price.
The historic 18th-Century inn, which is built from Cotswolds stone and has a pitched stone slate roof, runs as an independent pub, bar, and restaurant with 80 covers.
The property also has a basement beer cellar, enclosed children’s play area, and four new horse corrals.
In addition, it also houses owner’s accommodation containing a two-bedroom flat, with a further one-bedroom flat on the upper floors that was included in the sale.
Peter Brunt, hotel agency team member at Colliers, said: “Foston’s Ash Inn is a quintessential Cotswolds establishment and has been well looked after by its previous owners.
“Located between Cheltenham, Gloucester and Stroud Foston’s Ash is in an excellent location, in the heart of the AONB. We are pleased to have secured a new chapter for the inn and wish the buyer the best of luck with this new endeavour.”
