Costley & Costley Hoteliers has announced two new executives to its board and a further senior appointment to its management team.
Founded in 1988, Costley & Costley’s portfolio includes Lochgreen, Brig o’Doon, Doonbrae, Highgrove, Ellisland country house hotels, the Cochrane Inn and Souter’s Inn in Ayrshire Scotland.
Dawn Costley joins the board with responsibility for growing the company’s wedding and function business. Costley has worked for the company for more than 12 years and will be based at the Brig a Doon Country House Hotel.
Joining her is Linda Leckie who recently celebrated her 29th anniversary with the business. Following 11 years in local government, Leckie joined Costley & Costley as a part-time receptionist before becoming general manager at Highgrove Country House Hotel.
The scottish hospitality firm also announced Lynn Jess has been appointed as management accountant. Previously with sportswear company Trespass, Jess has worked with a number of leading brands including BAE and Bridge of Weir Leather Co. and is a member of ICAS.
Jess’ appointment also follows on from the recent appointment to the senior management team of Lorna Gibson who joined the business last month as strategic development director.
Bill Costley, chairman, said: “I’m delighted that we have strengthened our board experience and its depth of diversity which will I’m sure have a significant impact on the business going forward. All four women are highly skilled in their respective fields and will play significant roles as we embark on our growth strategy.”
