Forest Pines Hotel, Spa and Golf Resort has announced the appointment of Jamie McDonald as its new general manager.

For the past 20 years, McDonald has held various general manager roles specialising in golfing properties.

Most recently, he spent 18 months with The Telford Hotel, Spa and Golf Resort where he made significant contributions to the team and the property.

The hotel has a purpose-built hotel with 188 bedrooms, a health club with spa, a restaurant, lounge bar, events centre and a 27-hole championship golf course.

Forest Pines Hotel, Spa and Golf Resort and The Telford Hotel are both part of The QHotels Collection.

McDonald said: “The most important thing about our business is our people. I am committed to ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to move up a level and thrive in their role in the process.

“At The QHotels Collection, we focus on developing from within, spending time with the team and encouraging their individual growth. Our people are our greatest asset, and together, we will continue to elevate the experience for our guests, making our mark and engaging communities”.
