Kinloch House Hotel and estate in Perthshire has been brought to market with an asking price of £2.75m.

Built in 1840 and originally developed as a country house for the Peyton family from Dundee, the Kinloch House estate contains a luxury hotel with 15 large suites and bedrooms.

It also includes an adjoining five-bedroom Coach House and two self-contained one-bedroom apartments. To the rear of the hotel is a former swimming pool and leisure complex.

Spanning 25 acres, the estate features walled gardens, paddocks, and open land, as well as loch-side access to the Loch of Drumellie with a boat house.

The hotel is a popular choice for visitors attending shooting or golfing parties in the region, as well as international guests exploring Perthshire on their way to the Highlands or returning to Edinburgh

The estate has been owned by the Allen family for over 20 years, who have decided to sell to retire.

Gary Witham, director – Hotels at Christie and Co, who is managing the sale process, said: “Kinloch House has a well-deserved reputation for being a luxury home from home and an incoming buyer can build on that strong base to add more rooms or expand the facilities on offer.”
