DoubleTree by Hilton London West End has completed a £4m refurbishment, adding 14 new rooms and suites and redesigning its lobby and ground-floor restaurant.The investment brings the four-star hotel’s total capacity to 275 rooms and marks the final stage of a project that began with lobby works earlier this year.
The expansion includes two split-level Double Double Duplex Suites, five Deluxe Double Double rooms and seven King Deluxe Suites. The new accommodation is aimed at increasing capacity for families and leisure travellers staying in central London.
According to the hotel, the duplex suites are arranged across two levels, with sleeping areas separated from living space. The additional rooms form part of a new wing within the existing building.
The refurbishment also includes a redesigned lobby intended to align with the building’s historic architecture, alongside updated reception and seating areas.
The lobby connects to The Writing Room Bar and Lounge, the hotel’s ground-floor restaurant and bar, which draws on literary references linked to the Bloomsbury area.
