Edgbaston Park Hotel and Conference Centre has appointed Lisa Hadfield as director of sales to oversee commercial growth and manage MICE agency partnerships for the venue.
Hadfield joins the senior leadership team at the University of Birmingham-owned hotel, which is now in its eighth year of operation.
Her role will focus on increasing venue exposure and developing partnerships across the corporate, agency, and charity sectors.
Hadfield previously served as business development manager at Ashorne Hill and spent 11 years at Warwick Conferences. Her career also includes commercial roles at the NEC Birmingham and the Ricoh Arena in Coventry.
The appointment is intended to support the hotel’s expansion within the meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) market. The venue is also currently pursuing a strategy to increase its sustainability credentials within the UK conferencing sector.
