The 46-bedroom Peveril of the Peak hotel in Dovedale, Derbyshire, has been put on the market with a freehold asking price of £2m.
The country house hotel sits in approximately 10 acres of landscaped gardens in the hamlet of Thorpe. The property features an entrance reception, a lounge area, a separate bar, a dining room, two function rooms, and 14 partially refurbished staff bedrooms.
The sale also includes a detached two-bedroom cottage suitable for manager or staff accommodation. The site is tenanted until early 2027, when vacant possession will be delivered.
Senior business agent for hotels at Christie and Co Matt Hill, who is managing the sale process, said: “We are delighted to bring this country house hotel to the market for the owners.
“It is an asset which is currently tenanted and will be available with vacant possession in the early part of 2027. It is set in a wonderful location, and we would recommend any interested party to arrange a viewing to fully appreciate its setting.”
