The Lansdown Grove Hotel in Bath has been brought to market off a guide price of offers in excess of £8m.
The Grade II listed hotel is conveniently located for the city centre and the range of attractions that Bath has to offer. Situated in the Lansdown area of Bath, the property is being offered to the market with vacant possession, free from any branding or management agreement.
The freehold hotel has recently benefited from “significant investment” to upgrade all 61 bedrooms, bathrooms and public areas to provide “high quality and modern suites”.
Internal areas also include a reception lounge, lounge and lounge bar, restaurant with terrace and function suite. Externally there are private lawned gardens and private off street parking for around 40 cars.
James Greenslade, associate director in the hotels team at Savills in Exeter, who is handling the sale with joint agents Carter Jonas, said: “Bath is a well-known tourist destination steeped in history and beautiful architecture.
“Lansdown Hotel is excellently positioned to offer the over 700,000 tourists that visit the city each year with high quality and modern accommodation close to some landmark tourist locations. We expect there to be significant interest in the asset.”
