Luxury hotel group Montcalm has opened the doors to its sixth property, the Montcalm Royal London House in London’s famous Finsbury Square.

Situated close to Liverpool Street station and Shoreditch, the 253-bedroom hotel has been transformed from an office building into a five-star property with views of London’s city skyline.

The hotel’s bedrooms have been designed to include a high IT-spec in each room, with 10GB bandwidth capacity on demand, iPad docking stations, 55” TV screens, and a complimentary smartphone service.

The hotel’s two restaurants, two bars and room service operations will be run by acclaimed restaurateurs Tom and Ed Martin of ETM Group, – owner of The Jugged Hare, The Botanist in Sloane Square and The Botanist in Broadgate Circle.

The hotel’s meeting and event spaces are due to open later this month (November), which can be hired for exclusive use for up to 300 guests, or individually for smaller events of around 60.

An ‘urban spa’ is also due to launch in November, featuring Versace wall tiles, a swimming pool, jacuzzi, two treatment rooms, a sauna and a steam room.
