A Birmingham four-star Hotel Indigo has completed its £1m refurbishment after six months.

The reconstruction of the Birmingham-based hotel included renovation of reception, lobby and all 52 guest rooms, adding high tech such as flat screen TVs and rainfall showers to every room.

Birmingham’s canals and city centre landmarks inspired the renovation design as guests rooms now feature decorative accents, vivid murals and local neighbourhood heritage with unique architecture.

Indigo, located at the top of The Cube building, also provides a luxury health club, its award-winning spa, a high tech gym, pool and relaxation areas in addition to its Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill located at the hotel’s rooftop, offering guests an extensive menu and bar in its terrace area.

The hotel is also a 10-minute walk away from Birmingham’s New Street Rail Station, offering guests a quick access to the city.

CEO of Black and White Hospitality, which owns and manages Hotel Indigo Birmingham, Nick Taplin, said: “As a service-driven business, we are constantly working on new ways to enhance our guest experience. The investment is part of our ongoing strategy to ensure we keep moving forward and keep improving every part of our business.

“The new rooms look fantastic with comfy beds and a design that caters for the modern, high-tech traveller. The rooms have everything that today’s corporate and leisure guests require.”
