Lucknam Park has become the first hotel in England to be a member of Pride of Britain Hotels and of Relais & Chateaux at the same time.
The hotel which boasts 5 AA red stars and a Michelin star, can now add the award to its list of achievements following a decision by the Paris-based consortium enabling dual membership in the UK.
Lucknam Park, situated five miles from the city of Bath, is famed for its wonderful spa, impeccable staff and luxurious rooms. The hotel has 42 individually-designed bedrooms, including 13 suites and an extensive range of leisure facilities available for adults and children alike.
Pride of Britain Hotels consisting of 46 privately owned independent British hotels and spas has also added Seaham Hall in Durham to its membership having just completed a £1.5 million refurbishment.
