The Fellows House Cambridge, Curio Collection by Hilton, has unveiled its luxury townhouse collection, The Fellows House Mews.

Offering minimum stays of two-nights and tiered pricing options, the collection of four three-storey townhouses are specifically designed for guests staying seven-nights or more. 

Each townhouse is dedicated to a Fellow of Cambridge and uniquely styled and decorated in homage of their namesakes: Ramakrishnan, Burbidge, Desai and Appleton.

The collection is reportedly a response to the changes in demand for long-stay travel, and combines “the space and comfort of home with the experience and thoughtful design of a boutique hotel”. 

Each bedroom includes its own ensuite and every mews is complemented by an outdoor terrace alongside modern indoor/outdoor living and dining spaces. The four properties also include a fully equipped kitchen which provides all utensils required to cook breakfast through to dinner, as well as “state of the art” audio visual equipment. 

Meanwhile, The Folio Bar and Kitchen at The Fellows House Cambridge, Curio Collection by Hilton can also offer in room dining for guests, while complimentary welcome hampers are also provided for those staying seven nights or more. 

Local coffee shop, The Sage of Cambridge, which is also located at The Fellows House Cambridge, offers “health-conscious options” and freshly baked pastries transforming into a vibrant wine and aperitifs bar after 5pm.  

It hosts weekly ‘house party’ social evenings with engagement activities, along with various activities on a monthly basis. These are designed to enable a space for long-staying visitors to meet one another and socialise over themed complimentary drinks and nibbles. 

Extended stay guests can also make use of the onsite bike hire as well as one complimentary car parking space with EV charging provided. Additional hotel car parking with multiple electric car charging ports and the indoor swimming pool, gym, sauna and steam room are all available to use at an additional fee. 

There is also an onsite laundry room, weekly housekeeping and 24-hour onsite security and management. 

Julian Hudson, GM of The Fellows House Cambridge, Curio Collection by Hilton, said: “We know that our guests want to travel less – taking their time and staying in one place longer. 

“Throughout the pandemic our apartment business remained strong and we noticed more and more guests wanting privacy and space and our new townhouses offer spacious living with concierge facilities that make planning each stay comfortable and easy for our guests.”
