Clayton Hotel Manchester City Centre has appointed a director of Sales and Marketing who brings over 10 years’ industry experience to the four-star hotel which opened its doors earlier this year.
It has appointed Daniel Walker to the role, with the hotel adding he joins following a number of operational and commercial roles.
The Clayton Hotel Manchester City Centre, operated by Dalata Hotel Group Plc, features 329 bedrooms, five meeting rooms and all amenities such as transport, shopping, art galleries, bars and restaurants are just a short stroll away.
Walker said: “I am thrilled at the opportunity to work with Clayton Hotel Manchester City Centre. It’s a beautifully designed hotel in a central location, perfect for both our corporate & leisure guests.
“Dalata Hotel Group has a great reputation within the hospitality and hotel industry, but more importantly, the company is people focused and this is a key value for me. Both my parents worked in the hospitality industry, and I’ve always felt it was my destined career. I began working in my local restaurant in Cheshire when I was just a teenager and have been in love with the industry ever since.”
He added: “I love the fast-paced environment that hospitality brings and how every day is different. Meeting guests and clients from around the world is the best part of my job. I love looking after them and giving recommendations of what to do in Manchester.”
