PPHE extends partnership with Radisson Hotel Group

PPHE Hotel Group, the London listed international hospitality real estate and management company, has announced it has extended its longstanding strategic partnership with the Radisson Hotel Group.

Through the partnership, both companies will jointly develop a global portfolio of premium lifestyle art’otels in gateway cities, with select owners across the globe, and to capitalise on growth opportunities presented by PPHE’s current and future property portfolio.

Overall, the extended partnership allows for the development of a portfolio of premium lifestyle art’otels, and to collaborate on growth opportunities for Radisson Hotel Group brands.

This includes the signing of the first Radisson Collection hotel on the Adriatic coast Radisson Hotel Group (RHG’), as PPHE holds exclusive master franchise rights for RHG’s Park Plaza brand in EMEA.

Art’otel is a collection of upper upscale lifestyle properties, with art’otel Amsterdam the brand’s current flagship. Several art’otels are scheduled to open in coming years, including art’otel London Battersea Power Station in 2022 and the £300m art’otel London Hoxton in 2024. Additional openings are planned for Zagreb, Pula and Rome in 2022 and 2023.

In addition to growing the art’otel portfolio, the companies have entered into a strategic development agreement for PPHE to further grow RHG’s portfolio of brands across Europe, with foreseeable opportunities identified in Croatia and Central and Eastern Europe.

The first hotel to be confirmed under this extended partnership is the Grand Hotel Brioni Pula, a Radisson Collection hotel. The hotel formally opens this week for the summer season, following a £30m repositioning programme of the Hotel Brioni.

Art blends culture with lifestyle and this bold brand will provide unique opportunities to our guests and owners in this growing upper upscale segment.”

We envision growing art’otel in key gateway cities and also growing our hospitality real estate portfolio.”
