Novotel Liverpool Paddington Village set for July opening

The new hotel features conferencing areas, children’s recreational space in the lobby, destination restaurant and gymnasium, as well as offering 360-degree views of the city.

New images have revealed the first look of Liverpool’s highest hotel, Novotel Liverpool Paddington Village hotel, due to open in Liverpool next week on July 4.

Among its features, the 16-storey, 221-bedroom hotel, located in the heart of Knowledge Quarter Liverpool, will feature a ground floor coffee shop supplied by Liverpool-based independent, Bean Coffee. In an exclusive partnership, Bean will supply its locally roasted coffee throughout the hotel, including in guests; bedrooms.

Likewise, Love Lane Brewery, makers of craft beer, has partnered with the new hotel to offer guests its Liverpool-made beverage.

The new hotel features conferencing areas, children’s recreational space in the lobby, destination restaurant and gymnasium, as well as offering 360-degree views of the city.

Novotel Liverpool Paddington Village also offers 32 long-stay, apartment-style accommodation, and is designed in partnership with key health and education stakeholders in the Knowledge Quarter, “specifically for patients, students and relatives attending the nearby hospitals and universities”.

It is also the first hotel in the UK to feature the brand’s new global design concept by the Sundukovy Sisters, which aims to encapsulate “elegance, modernity, and simplicity in a welcoming social hub open to visitors and local residents alike”.

Howard Lewis, general manager, said: “I am thrilled to finally be able to reveal what the hotel will look like inside, and I invite our neighbours to come and see it for themselves when we finally open our doors to the public on July 4.

“Most important to me is that guests come here and know they are in Liverpool. That is why we are so excited to announce new partnerships with local businesses such as Bean Coffee and Love Lane Brewery, who will bring that quality, authentic Scouse experience to our guests.”

He added: “It is essential that we support our local suppliers, and we are actively looking to work with other local companies over the coming months.”
